New Delhi: To mark World No Tobacco Day 2025, the Ministry of Education (MoE) has launched a nationwide awareness quiz on the MyGov platform to educate citizens about the harmful effects of tobacco.

The initiative, aimed at students, teachers, and the general public, is designed to encourage informed choices and promote healthy lifestyles.

In a significant first, the World No Tobacco Day Awareness Quiz 2025 is available in 12 languages—English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, and Punjabi.

This multilingual approach reflects the spirit of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes access to learning in regional languages.

Hosted on the MyGov platform, the quiz is open to all and free of cost. Participants can visit quiz.mygov.in, select the quiz titled “World No Tobacco Day Awareness Quiz - 2025,” choose their preferred language, and register using a mobile number or email address.

Upon completion, each participant receives a digital certificate from MyGov.

The Ministry highlighted that this initiative is more than just a digital event—it is a call for collective action toward a tobacco-free India. By reaching people in their own languages, the quiz fosters inclusivity and strengthens awareness, especially among young learners.

Officials urged schools, educators, and communities across the country to participate and help transform the campaign into a nationwide movement for public health and education.
