Chennai: The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) has invited ITI graduates to participate in its vocational training program, aimed at equipping students with practical skills in various trades.

The Metropolitan Transport Corporation's Managing Director, Albie John Varghese, has released a statement highlighting the need for ITI graduates to join the MTC's vocational training initiative.

The program offers 500 vacancies across several categories, including Diesel Mechanic, Electrician, Auto Electrician, Welder, Fitter, Turner and Painter.

Participants will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 14,000 throughout the one-year training period. A special camp to facilitate this opportunity is scheduled for September 29 at 10:00 am at the Metropolitan Transport Corporation Vocational Training School in Chrompet.

Eligible students are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this beneficial program.
