Udaipur: Narayan Seva Sansthan (NSS) has concluded the 68th batch of its free three-month computer training programme, awarding certificates to 19 differently-abled participants at its campus.

According to NSS Director Vandana Agarwal, the initiative has trained 1,055 persons with disabilities over the past 10 years. “This programme is not just about skill-building but about enabling identity, independence, and inclusion in society,” she said.

The training covers MS Office, internet use, typing, and digital communication, creating pathways to employment in a technology-driven market. Apart from computer courses, NSS also provides vocational training in tailoring, embroidery, and mobile repairing, supporting thousands in achieving self-reliance.

The latest batch featured inspiring stories of resilience. Vijay Kumar (24) from Bihar, who lost both legs in a 2019 train accident, received artificial limbs from NSS before completing the computer course. Neha Kumari (22), also from Bihar, overcame mobility challenges with calipers provided by the organisation and embraced the training.

NSS plans to expand the programme with advanced courses in digital design, mobile technology, and online freelancing to help participants tap global employment opportunities.
