New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the correction window for Session 2 of Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2026 from February 27, allowing registered candidates to edit specific details in their application forms.

According to an official notice, the correction facility will remain available on the official website till February 28, 2026 (11:50 PM). Candidates have been advised to log in using their application number and password or date of birth to verify and modify permitted fields within the stipulated timeline. No changes will be allowed after the deadline under any circumstances, the agency said.

Fields open for correction include candidate's name, parents' names, date of birth, gender, category, PwD status, educational qualifications, state code of eligibility, choice of examination city and medium of question paper. However, certain basic registration details such as mobile number and email ID cannot be altered.

The NTA clarified that if any modification results in an increase in the application fee — such as change of category — candidates must pay the additional amount online through credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI. Corrections requiring fee payment will be accepted only after successful transaction.
