New Delhi: More than 300 schools across the national capital received bomb threat emails on Friday morning, triggering panic and mass evacuations before authorities confirmed the threats were hoaxes, officials said.

The Delhi Fire Department received the first alert at 8.15 am about a bomb threat at CRPF School in Sector 16, Dwarka. Similar alerts followed at 8.20 am from Sant Darshan Public School in Nangloi, at 8.51 am from Shanti Gyan Niketan in the Goyla Dairy area, and at 10.33 am from Andhra School in Prasad Nagar.

Other institutions that received the threatening emails included Blue Bells International School, DPS Dwarka, Modern School Barakhamba, St Stephen's College, and several government and private schools across North, South, and West Delhi.

Officials said the emails were sent by a group identifying itself as 'Terrorizers 111', which has previously issued similar threats. The sender claimed C4 explosives had been planted in school buildings and warned, “You have 24 hours to react or face the blood pool.”

Teams from the Delhi Fire Service, local police, bomb disposal squads, and dog units were immediately deployed to each school. “All premises were thoroughly checked, and no suspicious items were found. The calls were declared hoaxes after verification,” an official confirmed.
