New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the successful launch of India's heaviest communication satellite, CMS-03, describing it as another milestone that showcases the excellence and innovation of the country's space sector.

In a post on X, Modi said, “Our space sector continues to make us proud! Congratulations ISRO on the successful launch of India's heaviest communication satellite, CMS-03. Powered by our space scientists, it is commendable how our space sector has become synonymous with excellence and innovation.”

The Prime Minister said the achievements of India's space scientists have significantly contributed to national progress and empowered countless lives.

CMS-03, designed to enhance communication capabilities across the country, marks a major step in India's pursuit of advanced space technologies. The satellite's successful deployment further reinforces ISRO's reputation for delivering complex missions with precision and efficiency.

The launch adds to India's growing stature as a global space power, following recent successes such as the Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission and Aditya-L1 solar observatory project.
