New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted personnel in various government departments and organisations on April 26 as part of the Rozgar Mela initiative, the PMO said on Friday.

The distribution will take place at 11 am via video conferencing, and the Prime Minister will also address the appointees on the occasion.

The 15th edition of Rozgar Mela will be held at 47 locations across the country. The initiative is in line with Modi's commitment to according top priority to employment generation and aims to provide meaningful job opportunities to the youth, thereby empowering them and enabling active participation in nation-building, the PMO said.

The recruits will join various ministries and departments, including the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Railways, and the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
