Puducherry: Pondicherry University has inaugurated the ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) Student Chapter at its Department of Green Energy Technology to promote awareness on energy-efficient technologies and foster industry-academia collaboration.

The installation ceremony was held on Tuesday in the presence of university officials, ISHRAE representatives and students.
Prof K Tharanikkarasu, Director, SEI & RR, delivered the presidential address, stressing the role of young engineers in advancing sustainable practices.
