Chennai: The IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, in collaboration with BodhBridge Education, has launched two free online entrepreneurship training programmes aimed at nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs in India.

The initiatives — “From Students to Startups” for college students and working professionals, and “Discover the Entrepreneur in You” for school students — seek to equip young learners with entrepreneurial knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Both programmes include live interactive sessions by experts, case studies, and free access to course materials and recorded sessions. The first batch begins on November 1, 2025, and the last date to register is October 28. Regular monthly sessions are planned. Students can register online at https://bodhbridge.iitmpravartak.org.in.

Highlighting the initiative, Mr. Balamurali Shankar, Chief Knowledge Officer, IIT Madras Pravartak, said that entrepreneurship education at school and college levels would help build a generation of confident and innovative leaders. “It fosters resilience, confidence, and purpose, preparing students to succeed in any field and contribute to economic growth,” he said.

The programmes will teach participants to identify real-world problems, validate ideas, develop business models, understand funding, and gain essential entrepreneurial skills. School students (Classes 7-12) will be introduced to creativity, leadership, and business concepts through engaging exercises.

IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation is a Section 8 company hosting the Technology Innovation Hub on Sensors, Networking, Actuators and Control Systems, funded by the Department of Science and Technology under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems.
