Bengaluru: Tech education platform Scaler on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli to jointly develop management and business programmes aligned with the needs of an AI-driven workplace.
The partnership aims to design industry-ready programmes that combine management fundamentals with practical exposure to emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, officials said.
Under the collaboration, IIM Tiruchirappalli will contribute its academic expertise and structured pedagogical approach, while Scaler will bring its experience in applied, industry-focused learning and insights into the evolving technology landscape. The programmes will focus on equipping professionals with leadership capabilities required to navigate rapid technological change.
Scaler co-founder Abhimanyu Saxena said the initiative seeks to help professionals develop confidence in both business and technology, enabling informed decision-making in fast-changing environments.
Dean (Corporate Relations and Faculty Affairs), IIM Tiruchirappalli, Saravanan P said managers are increasingly expected to handle complex business challenges while being comfortable with new technologies. He added that the collaboration would strengthen the practical relevance of management education.
Scaler has been expanding its management education offerings, including programmes integrating business and AI. The company has earmarked Rs 50 crore over the next two years for developing and scaling such initiatives, covering curriculum development, faculty collaboration and learning infrastructure.
Officials said the partnership is aimed at preparing future leaders to combine strategy, people management and technology in an increasingly automated business environment.
