Coimbatore: The Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of yoga trainers to conduct regular training sessions in Coimbatore.

According to District Sports Officer Bhuvaneswari, yoga classes are held in four sessions daily — from 6:00 to 7:00 a.m., 7:15 to 8:15 a.m., 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., and 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. A monthly fee of Rs 300 will be charged for participants enrolling in the sessions.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Yoga and Naturopathy from a recognised university in Tamil Nadu. Eligible candidates are requested to appear in person for the selection process at the office of the District Sports Officer at 4:00 p.m. on November 13.

The initiative, organised by SDAT, aims to promote physical fitness and mental well-being among the public through professionally guided yoga training.
