Hyderabad: Simandhar Education and EThames Business School, Hyderabad, have entered into a strategic academic partnership to integrate U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Enrolled Agent (EA) pathways into undergraduate programmes, marking a first-of-its-kind initiative in the city.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), CPA and EA preparation will be embedded into B.Com, BBA and allied undergraduate courses, enabling students to pursue globally recognised U.S.-based accounting and taxation credentials alongside their degree.

The integrated model aims to address gaps in undergraduate commerce education by providing early exposure to international accounting standards and global taxation frameworks. The initiative also aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and India's growing demand for internationally benchmarked finance professionals.

Simandhar Education Co-Founder Sripal Jain said the collaboration responds to changing global finance career requirements, while EThames Chairman Kali Prasad Gadiraju said the move would enhance international career readiness among students.

The MoU was signed at the EThames Hyderabad campus in the presence of senior officials from both institutions.
