Gurugram: At least six private schools in Gurugram received bomb threats via email on Wednesday morning, prompting a security alert, officials said.

The schools affected include Kunsakpalan School and Shiv Nadar School in DLF Phase-1, Lancers School in Sector-53, Heritage Experiential Learning School in Sector-64, Shri Ram Aravali School, and Pathway World School near Badshahpur.

Police, school authorities, and district administration launched search operations, evacuated students, and deployed bomb squads and sniffer dogs on all campuses. The emails were reportedly received around 7:10 am, just as children were about to arrive at school.

Parents were advised not to send their children, and students already present were sent back home. SDRF teams are assisting in the investigation.

A senior police officer said no suspicious objects have been found so far, but authorities continue to monitor the situation closely.
