Chennai: Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER) and Colorado State University have launched joint programs in engineering, biomedical sciences, public health, and medical microbiology. The collaboration includes student and faculty exchanges, credit transfers, and research partnerships in areas like rehabilitative medicine, orthopaedic bioengineering, climate change, genetics, and medical virology. SRIHER undergraduates can take credits at CSU online, facilitating an accelerated master's program. Research rotations and faculty collaborations will also be established. The programs are set to begin next academic year, aiming to demonstrate success under the new national education policy emphasizing equitable access to high-quality education.
