Chennai: Aspiring students to pursue higher studies in Tamil may enrol in MA programs at International Institute of Tamil Studies (IITS), Taramani.
The International Institute of Tamil Studies (IITS) is functional in Taramani, Chennai. This popular institute offers PG programs like MA in Tamil and integrated five-year MA as well as Ph.D. studies.
Those who wish to join these courses this year, download the application from the website www.ulakaththmizh.in and submit the completed application by the 7th of June to 'Director, International Institute of Tamil Studies, Second Main Road, Central Technical College Campus, Taramani, Chennai - 113. The application can be submitted in person or sent by post.
Separate free hostel facility for both girls and boys are available. Scholarship will also be provided for some studies.
