In a bid to reach a larger audience, the Tamil Nadu government has opted to leverage the popularity of WhatsApp. Towards this, a new WhatsApp channel, "Tamilnadu Schemes," has been established by the TNDIPR, Govt of Tamilnadu.

People of Tamil Nadu can now access information about Tamil Nadu government schemes directly through their WhatsApp accounts by following the channel listed in the channel section.
