Cuddalore: The Tamil Nadu government has invited applications from Adi Dravidar and tribal nursing graduates for a nine-month German language training programme aimed at securing employment in Germany, Cuddalore District Collector C P Aditya Senthilkumar said.

The initiative, organised by the Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation (TAHDCO), is open to candidates aged between 21 and 35 years who have completed B.Sc Nursing, General Nursing, or Diploma in Midwifery, with an annual family income not exceeding Rs 3 lakh.

According to the collector, the training will prepare participants for the German language examination required for employment in Germany, where demand for nurses has risen. Food, accommodation and training expenses will be covered by TAHDCO during the course.

Eligible candidates who complete the training successfully will be placed in nursing jobs in Germany with salaries ranging from Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 3 lakh per month, he said.
