Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government has released the rank list for admissions to Indian medicine courses, including Siddha, Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy, Public Health Minister Ma Subramanian announced.

A total of 4,371 candidates have been included in the list under the government quota. The selection is based on NEET scores, while admissions to Yoga and Naturopathy will be determined by Class 12 marks, officials said.

In the NEET exam, D S Pragati from Kanyakumari district secured the top position with a score of 520 out of 720. G T Iniya Sudarsan (512) and R Bhavesh (509) secured the second and third ranks respectively.

Counselling for these courses will be conducted online through the website https://tnayushselection.org from 10 am on September 8 to 5 pm on September 11, according to the Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy.
