Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has released the ranking list for diploma admissions to its courses in Agriculture, Horticulture, and Agricultural Engineering.

A total of 2,430 applications were received for 1,240 available seats. Of these, 552 applications were rejected, and 1,878 candidates have been shortlisted in the ranking list.

Under the differently-abled quota, 14 candidates have applied for 30 seats.

The community-wise breakdown of qualified candidates includes 380 from the Backward Classes, 706 from Most Backward Classes, 635 from the Scheduled Castes (Adi Dravidar), 68 from Arundhatiyar community, 65 from the Scheduled Tribes, and 3 from the General category. Additionally, 21 candidates belong to Backward Class (Muslim) category.

In the Biology stream, Pravin topped the list with a cut-off score of 195, followed by Kathir (194.5) and Jayavarman (193). In the Mathematics stream, Jayavarman secured the top rank with 196, followed by Karthikeyan (193) and Irbana Shajitha (189).
