Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) on Wednesday released a notification for the Combined Technical Services Examination (Non-Interview Posts), announcing 615 vacancies across 47 designations, including Assistant Engineer roles in Mechanical, Electrical and Agricultural Engineering streams.

According to an official release, the recruitment drive aligns with the annual selection calendar of the Commission and pertains to the 2025-26 financial year.

Applications will be accepted online between May 27 and June 25. Candidates can also pay their examination fees through UPI.

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is scheduled to be conducted from August 4 to August 10, 2025.

The TNPSC further clarified that a total of 1,236 vacancies are set to be filled over two financial years through the Combined Technical Services Examinations (CTSE).

The average annual intake stands at around 618 posts.

The Commission also noted that the number of vacancies announced for 2025-26 may increase, subject to additional requisitions from government departments and institutions prior to the counselling phase.

No interviews will be conducted for these posts, the notification added.
