Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will issue an official announcement regarding its recruitment exams next month, its chairman SK Prabhakar has said.

Speaking to reporters, Prabhakar stated that the commission is in the process of gathering details on vacancies across government departments, which are expected to be finalized by this month. The official notification for the exams will be released soon after.

In December last year, TNPSC had released an annual exam calendar, listing seven major recruitment exams, including Group 1, Group 2, 2A, and Group 4. However, details regarding applications and exam dates are yet to be announced.

Prabhakar also revealed that changes have been made to the answer sheet format to simplify the filling process. “Steps will be taken to ensure the exams are conducted on time without irregularities,” he added.
