Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has given a final opportunity to candidates who have submitted defective or incomplete certificates for the post of Assistant Section Officer (Other than Law and Finance Departments) in the Secretariat, under the Combined Civil Services Examination - Group VA Services.

Following the verification of certificates uploaded in response to Notification No.16/2024 dated October 17, 2024, the Commission found that several candidates either failed to upload certain documents, partially uploaded them, or submitted defective certificates.

To facilitate these candidates, the Commission has sent alerts via SMS, e-mail, and published a memorandum on its website, directing them to upload or re-upload the required documents and rectify deficiencies through their One-Time Registration (OTR) accounts. The window for uploading is open from July 22 to July 31, 2025, until 11:59 PM.

Failure to comply within the stipulated timeframe will lead to rejection of their claims or applications, the Commission warned. The register numbers of the affected candidates have also been published on the TNPSC website, said A. Shanmuga Sundaram, Controller of Examinations, TNPSC.
