Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is all set to conduct the Combined Civil Services Examination-Group VA Services on December 21, 2025, at the Chennai centre only, the Commission said.

According to an official release, the recruitment notification (No.16/2025) for the Group VA Services was issued on October 7, 2025, and the application process closed on November 5, 2025. The written examination will be held in two sessions — forenoon and afternoon.

The examination will comprise two papers: Paper I (General Tamil) and Paper II (General English), carrying 100 marks each. A total of 32 vacancies have been notified under the recruitment.

As many as 623 candidates have been admitted for the examination, including 401 male and 222 female candidates. No applications were rejected, the TNPSC said.

The examination will be conducted exclusively at the Chennai centre (Centre Code: 0101). Candidates have been advised to follow the instructions issued by the Commission and appear for the examination as per the schedule.
