Chennai: The Computer Based Preliminary Test for the post of Assistant Conservator of Forests was held on 3 May 2023.Totally, 13857 candidates were admitted for the exam to fill 9 vacancies. 8 venues had been allotted in Chennai with about to accommodate 3235 candidates. With candidates writing in 65 venues throughout the state of Tamil Nadu, 22 centers had been set up.  The 3-hour CBT is for 300 marks with 200 questions to attempt from topics like General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability. Altogether, 9031 male and 4826 female candidates were called for the test.     Earlier, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) made it public about the exam through a notification dt: 13, Dec 2022.
