Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will conduct the second stage of certificate verification and counselling for the post of Fisheries Inspector in the Tamil Nadu Fisheries Subordinate Service on August 26.

The recruitment was notified under Notification No. 29/2022 dated October 13, 2022, and the marks and rank details of candidates were published on the Commission's website on June 2, 2023.

A list of candidates provisionally shortlisted for certificate verification and counselling, based on marks, overall rank, reservation norms and vacancies, has been uploaded on the TNPSC website, the Commission said in a release.

Candidates can download the call letter with the date, time and venue details from www.tnpsc.gov.in. Information will be sent via SMS and e-mail, but no separate communication will be issued by post.

The Commission also clarified that appearance in the verification process does not guarantee appointment. Candidates failing to attend the scheduled verification and counselling will not be given another opportunity, it added.

The process will be held at the TNPSC office on Commission Road, Chennai, located near Broadway bus stand and Fort railway station.
