Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) on Wednesday announced that its annual plan for 2026 has been uploaded on the Commission's website, and that vacancy details will be released along with each examination notification.

In a significant development, TNPSC said that—for the first time in its history—it will publish notifications for the Combined Civil Services Examinations (Groups I, II, IIA and IV) and the Combined Technical Services Examinations (interview posts, non-interview posts, and diploma/apprenticeship-level posts) for the third consecutive year in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

The Commission noted that this continuity in notifications marks a major administrative milestone, underscoring a commitment to timely recruitment and a predictable exam calendar for aspirants.

TNPSC also highlighted that, for the first time, the schedule for release of notifications and conduct of examinations was clearly specified in 2024 and 2025.

All notifications were issued on the announced dates, and the examinations were conducted strictly as per the published annual timetable, said TNPSC Secretary S. Gopala Sundara Raj.
