Hisar: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionised the educational landscape, making the role of teachers even more crucial, said AICTE Chairman T G Sitharam on Tuesday.

Speaking as the chief guest at the 31st Foundation Day of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUS&T) in Hisar, Sitharam highlighted that while AI offers numerous benefits, it also presents new challenges that require educators to adapt and upskill.

“In the present circumstances, it is essential for us to continuously enhance our skills and contribute to the development of the nation and society,” he said.

He noted that India has made significant progress in research and technology, transitioning “from being importers to exporters,” and expressed confidence that GJUS&T would play a vital role in realising the vision of a 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047.

University Vice Chancellor Narsi Ram Bishnoi also addressed the gathering.
