Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) has announced that the written examination to fill 2,708 vacant Assistant Professor posts in government arts and science colleges will be held on December 20.

Earlier, the board had issued a notification for the recruitment of 4,000 Assistant Professors, which was later cancelled. A fresh notification has now been released for 2,708 posts.

According to the TRB, eligible candidates can submit their applications till November 10, and corrections in the application form can be made within the following two days. Candidates who have already paid the examination fee for the earlier notification will be allowed to appear for the exam free of cost.

After the written examination, details regarding the interview process will be announced separately.
