Deoria (UP): About 12 students of Kasturba residential school, Barhaj here fell ill after consuming stale food.
The girls complained of vomiting and diarrhoea after consuming dinner last night and were rushed to Barhaj Community Health Centre, CDO Rajesh Tyagi said.
The girls had reportedly consumed stale food in dinner, he said, adding that their condition was now better.
The Basic Shiksha Adhikari has been asked to inquire into the matter and directives issued for providing fresh food to the students.
