New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Thursday announced the final results of the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025, recommending 458 candidates for appointment to various services.

The final merit list has been prepared on the basis of the written examination conducted in August 2025 and the Personality Test held during October and November, the Commission said.

The recommended candidates are from four engineering disciplines — Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. The government had reported a total of 554 vacancies for recruitment through the examination. Allocation of services and departments will be made according to the candidates' ranks and the preferences indicated by them, subject to availability of vacancies.

UPSC said the candidature of 102 candidates has been kept provisional, pending verification of eligibility and other required documents. In addition, a consolidated reserve list of 186 candidates has been prepared to meet future requirements.

The Commission said the mark sheets of the successful candidates will be made available on the UPSC website within 15 days from the date of declaration of the results.

Candidates seeking further information or clarification may contact the UPSC facilitation counter during working hours, the Commission added.
