Chennai: VELS Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) hosted its HR Conclave 2025 on the theme “Campus to Corporate: Preparing the Next Generation Workforce.” The event brought together over 180 HR professionals, industry experts, faculty, and students to strengthen industry-academia ties.

Inaugurated by Dr. Preethaa Ganesh, Vice President of VELS Group, the conclave featured a key panel discussion on skill development moderated by Zoho's Charles Godwin. HR leaders from TCS, HCL GUVI, Renault Nissan, and others emphasized AI, automation, and data-driven skills for future employability.

Panelists introduced the 'VIBE' concept — Vision, Integrity, Belief, Execution — as a model to bridge the campus-corporate divide.

The conclave led to 10 MoUs for placements and training, and highlighted an international tie-up with the Penang government. Over 100 VISTAS students have been placed in top MNCs through the university's focused training programs.
