This strategic move aims to foster a robust partnership between ISTE and Ethiopia, with Dr. Krishnaraj Ramaswamy spearheading the establishment of the Ethiopian chapter of ISTE.The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) stands as a venerable institution, with origins dating back to 1941 and a formal rebranding in 1968.Registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act of 1860, ISTE has emerged as a national nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of technical education. With an extensive network comprising over 97,000 technical educators and 566,000 student members, ISTE boasts a formidable presence in the realm of technical education. Its membership also includes 2,345 prestigious institutional members, featuring eminent institutes such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs).
