A site visit to Happy Valley Hindu Temple was arranged for the participants of Perspects of Indian Cultures Workshop by the session presenter Aaron Tang.
Before entering the temple, they were briefed about the structure and plan of the temple and the idols for worship.  They were served Vadai and Kesari at that time.
They attended the weekly bhajan session.  Aaron Tang impressed everyone by singing Hindi and Tamil devotional songs.  They participated in the arati and learnt about the Hindu ritual of praying different gods for the well-being of humanity.
The session ended with the Prasad offered at the temple.  All the Chinese participants returned back with good knowledge about Hindu customs at the Temple. They were all looking forward to visiting the temple again when they get time.
