Male' : Friendship Association of India-Maldives (FAIM) organised India-Maldives Friendship Night to xelebrate New Year 2023.A colourful event was organized by the Friendship Association of India-Maldives (FAIM) on 1st Jan 2023 at Social Centre to welcome and celebrate the new year 2023 as Friendship Night  The celebration had lot of entertainments activities such as Karaoke Music, Magic show and cultural dances. Magic was performed by the famous Maldivian magician Mr Shareef and cultural dance was  performed by the group Gulhee Anhenunge Roohu from an island called Guhi.The Director General of Youth & Sports, Mr. Ali Zaki graced as function as   the chief guest of the evening, officials from  the  High Commission of India, Indian Cultural Centre (ICC),  MSPA, OLD is GOLD, BIKE Maldives, WDC have attended the function as special invitees.Speaking at the function President of FAIM Mr. Ahmed Amjad thanked the High Commission of India, Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), Founder Members, Advisory Board Members, Executive Members of FAIM and  other contributors for their generous  contributions and continuous support to carryout the activities of FAIM.This is the 14th year of the existence of FAIM in the country which is established to strengthen the relations and bond between people of India and Maldives.Members of both Indian and Maldivian community enjoyed the INDIA-MALDIVES Friendship Night.
