Rotary Srilanka District - 3220 Governor Aruni Makakasekara visited Trincomalee Rotary Club on 15-01-2022. Governor’s Asst Secretary Jayakumar & & Asst. Governor Dr.Karunakaran also accompanied him. President of the Rotary Club of Trincomalee  –  T.Ahelan welcomed  the Governor  and  Guests. Secretary K. Pirabhakaran gave a brief  description  about  the activities during 2021-2022 period.Miss M. Aganshaa of T/ Sri Shanmugha Hindu Ladies College Year 5 Scholarship Winner was appreciated through cash price. President T.Ahilan donated a Grass Cutter to Mr.N. Vellayutham. A bicycle to a student of T/ Gopalapuram Tamil Vidyalaum, This is part of Global Grant. Principals of T/ Gamesha vidyalayam & T/ Thangapuram School received Computers, under “Computers to Rural Schools”. Additional 6 Schools will receive in due course.Mr.Rashk received “Service above self” award along with cash price. District Governor was introduced by Governor’s Asst Secretary Jayakumar. Governor Aruni Makakasekara appreciated the activities of the Rotary Club of Trincomalee & requested to enroll more quality young members.
