Vishva Hindu Parishad of South Australia (VHPSA) organises many events, with one of them being Dharma Kitchen Annadanam Prasadam. In VHP, we do Annadanam to share Hindu Indian food around to everyone. We conduct this monthly event for people that want to catch-up with their family and friends to enjoy some Indian food during lunch while listening to the Maha mantra. Annadanam happens on the first Saturday of every month. We will be having the Maha mantra (Hare Krishna, Hare Rama) chanting by ISCKON during each Annadanam. VHP has started Annadanam in 2016 and have been held at Clarence Park Community Centre in Adelaide for 7 years now. The in-built kitchen has everything that we need to prepare a tasty variety of Indian food that changes every single month. These meals are 100% vegetarian. During special festivals such as Ekadashi, we prepare meals to suit the occasion. Many people from different nationalities come to enjoy the delicacies made by our volunteers, with the numbers ranging from 100 – 120 people per month.
