Prof Prasanalakshmi Balaji, a distinguished academician and researcher from Tamil Nadu state, India, is currently serving at the College of Computer Science, King Khalid University, Abha, Saudi Arabia, where she has made remarkable strides in advancing knowledge in her field. Formerly she served as Head of the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the Royal College of Engineering, Akkikavu, Thrissur (Dt). Additionally, in 2022, she secured the first position in the 'Research and Innovation' category from the Deanship of Quality Affairs at King Khalid University, Al-Fara, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
