Jeddah Thiruvithamcore Association (JTA), an association of people from the historic Thiruvithamcore region, hosted their annual event, Thiruvutsavam 2025.
The audience was captivated by the artistic performances of JTA members and the soulful song renditions by playback singers Sajla Salim and Sajli Salim.
A documentary showcasing the unique features of Travancore was screened, resonating with the audience through its compelling content, storytelling, style, and impact. Concept by Dileep Thamarakulam, Screenplay and directed by Najeeb Venjaramoodu, cinematography by Saju rajan, coordinated by Nazeer Vavakunj, the documentary throws its weight around and made a real difference, even in that short span of time, they all pack a punch, open our eyes a little bit, received applause for its overall engagement and immersive presentation.
Songs by Mirza Sharif, Noohu Beemapally, Vijesh Chandru, Rasheed Oyur, Sandhya, Ashna, Rajikumar, and Ashir Kollam deeply moved the audience, evoking emotional responses and fostering a strong sense of community. The performances undoubtedly enhanced feelings of joy and connection, further elevated by the well-orchestrated background music and perfectly matched sound variations arranged by Ashraf Valiyora.
The dance performances by the children of Good Hope and Phenom academies captivated the audience with their vibrant costumes, dedication, and graceful choreography. Their well-curated selections and passionate execution earned them enthusiastic applause.
Singer Sajili Saleem, a Mappila song enchantress from Kerala, mesmerized the audience with her soulful melodies, celebrating the rich cultural tapestry of Malabar through her captivating vocals. Meanwhile, singer Sajila Saleem, a gifted singer, composer, and lyricist, showcased her remarkable talent and dedication. Together, their mesmerizing voices kept the audience enthralled and electrified throughout the performance.
The Kakarissi drama and Dandiya dance, featuring intricate moves choreographed by Sreeta Teacher, captivated the audience with seamless coordination, expressive transitions, and impeccable timing. Meanwhile, the spot dubbing performance by Fazil Oachira introduced a unique linguistic twist, showcasing remarkable clarity, emotional depth, and perfect synchronization with the original film's dialogue. With eyes closed, one could effortlessly recognize which actor was being imitated, highlighting the precision and authenticity of the performance.
General Convener Dileep Thamarakkulam presented the preamble to the program, setting the stage for the event. The meeting was presided over by President Ali Thekkuthod, with felicitations delivered by Mr. Nazeer Vavakunju, Shihab Thamarakkulam, and Naushad Panmana. The event was officially inaugurated by Dr. Mohammed Imran, Marketing Director of Abeer Medical Group.
Community members and Business Establishments were honoured for their outstanding contributions to society. The JTA team felicitated Abeer Medical Group, Al Salam Medical Complex, Vijay Food Products, Dhe Put Restaurant, Mr. Masood Balaramapuram, Mr. Najeeb Venjaramoodu, Mr. Anil Kumar Pathanamthitta, Mrs. Jothikumar, Mr. Vasu Velledathu, and Mr. Mohammed Hafeez Rahman for their dedicated service and support to the community.
Al Abeer Medical Group honoured Mr. Ali Thekkuthode with a shawl in recognition of his contributions. Jinny George played a key role as the Program Flow Controller, meticulously scheduling event slots to maintain an engaging and seamless tempo and ensure the program's smooth progression, whereas the program was expertly hosted by Mr. Muhammad Rafi and Roslin, additionally, the General Body approved the continuation of the current management team for the year 2025-26.
