On Friday, 25th of August, 139th Blood Donation Camp, jointly organized by Tamil Nadu Tawheed Jamaat (TNTJ) and King Saudi Medical City (KSMC) was successfully held in Riyadh. 70 blood donors registered of which 57 of them donated blood in this camp.Speaking on the occasion, the Riyadh Regional Blood Donation Coordinator of Tamil Nadu Tawheed Jamaat Bro. Ahmed Mukhtar said, 'the purpose of conducting these blood donation camps is to highlight the highly valued principles of Islam that 'one must seek the welfare of others' The Holy Qur’an also says, “... Whoever saves a life, it will be as if they have saved the whole of humanity” (Al-Qur’an 5:32). Through this service, we would like to prove to the world that Islam insists Muslims to be humane and spread kindness, and to seek other's welfare; and we expect nothing but the reward from Allah for doing all these services. 'TNTJ has conducted 138 camps in Riyadh alone in the last 17 years and has donated more than thousand liters of blood every year as required . He also said that TNTJ has received awards and certificates from the Saudi Government, Department of Health and Hospitals in recognition of its social and humanitarian services.Also, talking about this camp, the head of Riyadh zone, Bro. Syed Ibrahim pointed out that TNTJ volunteers and blood donors participated happily and voluntarily in this humanitarian effort considering the welfare of others and the needs of the patients.Speaking of this camp, Bro. Syed Ibrahim said, 'This life saving service holds great importance, and such acts of kindness are a tribute that portrays brotherhood and love of the Indian nation.' And he said that this blood donation camp not only reflected the diversity of our Indian nation and proclaim the sacrifices and patriotism of Indians residing in other countries but also expressed humanity not only with words but also with their blood sacrifice.The entire arrangements were well done by the Administrators of Tamil Nadu Tawheed Jamaat.
