Admission is open for the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (B.N.Y.S.) course offered in colleges affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.

Duration of the course:
Five and a half years, including one year of compulsory internship.

Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant must be an Indian citizen. Foreign nationals are not eligible to apply.
The applicant must be a native of Tamil Nadu. Candidates from other states, even if residing in Tamil Nadu, will not be considered as natives.
The applicant must have studied from Class 6 to Class 12 in Tamil Nadu.
The applicant must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2025.
The applicant must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, or Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology in Class 12. Appearing for the NEET examination is not mandatory.

Reservation and Admission Process:
Admission will be through counselling for:
Seats in Government Yoga and Naturopathy Medical Colleges
Government quota seats in Self-financing Yoga and Naturopathy Medical Colleges
Separate counselling will be conducted for management quota (administrative quota) seats in Self-financing Yoga and Naturopathy Medical Colleges.
Special reservation under the government quota is available for:
Children of ex-servicemen
Sportspersons
Differently-abled candidates
