On the lines of national-level Olympiad exams in science and mathematics, the Tamil Nadu School Education Department is set to conduct a Tamil Literary Aptitude Test across the state to enhance students' proficiency in Tamil.

Scholarship:
A total of 1,500 students will be selected through this examination. Each selected student will receive a monthly scholarship of ₹1,500 for two years.

Eligibility:
Class 11 students from all schools in Tamil Nadu—including government, recognized matriculation, CBSE, and ICSE institutions—are eligible. Of the selected candidates, 50% will be from government schools and 50% from other schools.

Application Process:
Candidates can download the application form from https://apply1.tndge.org/dge-notification/TTSE.
The filled form, along with an application fee of ₹50, should be submitted to the respective school principal. The test will be conducted in all districts across Tamil Nadu.
