Puducherry: CENTAC has conducted preliminary counseling for non-NEET courses, filling 40 percent of the seats. Following unfilled seats from the first round, CENTAC is preparing for the second round of counseling. CENTAC has instructed that college and course preferences must be submitted by 5:00 pm on the 7th.

The B.Pharm course falls under non-NEET courses. While preliminary counseling has been held for other courses, it has not yet been conducted for B.Pharm.

This has caused confusion among parents and students about whether to prioritize the second phase of counseling, as they are currently waiting for the first phase's results based on their college and course preferences.

According to CENTAC officials, B.Pharm is listed under courses without NEET scoring. Students who have applied for this course will be considered during the initial consultation along with other courses.

Therefore, the priority given by students for B.Pharm will be automatically canceled after the preliminary consultation. Students who have applied for the B.Pharm course must prioritize their preferences again for the second round of counseling; otherwise, they will not be allotted a seat.
