Chennai: The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Examination for the academic year 2024-2025 has been announced.

Students studying in government and government-aided schools recognized by the Tamil Nadu government are eligible to apply for this examination.

The NMMS examination, aimed at providing scholarships to Class VIII students under the National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme, is scheduled to take place on February 22, 2025 (Saturday) across district-level (block-level) examination centers.

Blank applications can be downloaded from the official website www.dge.tn.gov.in between December 31, 2024, and January 24, 2025.

Completed applications, along with the online fee payment of Rs. 50, must be submitted to the Headmaster of the applicant's school by January 24, 2025.

This initiative seeks to support meritorious students from economically weaker sections by providing scholarships to pursue their education.
