Chennai: The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) will host the North East Trade and Investment Roadshow in Chennai on February 5, 2025, at 3:30 PM at Hotel Hilton, Guindy.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia will inaugurate the event, with key officials and representatives from North Eastern states in attendance.

The roadshow will feature B2G meetings, enabling direct investor engagement with state representatives across sectors like agri-food processing, IT, tourism, healthcare, and infrastructure. Organized in collaboration with state governments, FICCI, and Invest India, it aims to unlock the region's economic potential.

As part of a nationwide series, the Chennai event follows successful roadshows in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad. It aligns with the 'Viksit Bharat, Viksit North East' vision, driving investment and growth in the region.

The event is expected to attract significant investor interest, further integrating the North East into India's economic framework.
