Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Science University has closed applications for its undergraduate courses in B.V.Sc., - A.H./B.Tech., revealing a staggering response from aspiring students.

A total of 17,497 applications were received, highlighting intense competition for the available 800 seats.

Of the total applications, 14,497 were for veterinary medicine courses, underscoring the popularity of the field, while 3,000 applications were received for B.Tech programs offered by the university.

Prospective NRIs and candidates seeking financial assistance have an extended application deadline until July 5 to apply.
