Rajendra Kumar re-elected to ICAI Central Council

Chennai: Chartered Accountant (CA) Rajendra Kumar P has been re-elected as a Member of the Central Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), New Delhi, for the 2025-2029 term. 
This marks his third consecutive term representing the Southern Region. The ICAI, a statutory body established under an Act of Parliament, is the apex organization governing the chartered accountancy profession in India.
In addition to his national role, Rajendra Kumar P has been elected as the Chair of the Edinburgh Group for a two-year term from 2024 to 2026. 
The Edinburgh Group is a coalition of 16 global accounting bodies advocating for the interests of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Small and Medium Practitioners (SMPs).
His dual roles underline his significant contributions to the accounting profession, both in India and on the international stage.
