Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has withdrawn the posts of Assistant Archaeologist (Archaeology) and Assistant Archaeologist (Government Museum, Pudukottai) from its Combined Technical Services Examination (Non-Interview Posts) notification, issued on July 26, 2024.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced significant changes to its Combined Technical Services Examination (Non-Interview Posts) through Notification No. 09/2024.

The updated notification, effective 26, July 2024, reflects the removal of the previously advertised vacancies for the positions of Assistant Archaeologist (Archaeology) and Assistant Archaeologist (Government Museum, Pudukottai).

This revision follows a recent decision by the Department of Museums to withdraw these positions.

As a result, these roles are no longer part of the current recruitment process, said the Secretary, TNPSC.
