Mumbai: Amazon Web Services (AWS) and higher edtech platform TimesPro successfully concluded the inaugural 'AWS Hackathon' in Mumbai, fostering generative AI (GenAI) solutions to transform learning, career planning, and workforce development.

The three-day event saw 14 teams with over 80 participants developing AI-driven prototypes to enhance accessibility, efficiency, and user experience. Notable innovations included a GenAI-powered smart resume builder trained on 32,000 resumes, enabling multilingual CV generation via text and voice commands. Other projects featured an academic companion offering personalised post-class support, an AI-based interview automation platform with proctoring capabilities, and a career guidance tool leveraging AI for goal-setting.

AWS supported the initiative through GenAI workshops and infrastructure enablement. A panel of AI experts and industry leaders evaluated the projects based on feasibility, business impact, and scalability, selecting promising innovations for further development.

TimesPro aims to deepen AI integration across its digital initiatives and expand collaborations with IITs, IIMs, and IISc to drive research and innovation in education technology.
