Coimbatore: Bharathiar University has extended the deadline for applying to select undergraduate and postgraduate courses to facilitate wider student participation.

According to an official release, the university had earlier issued a notification inviting applications for various UG and PG programmes. Following encouraging student interest, the administration has decided to extend the last date for applying to several courses.

As per the revised schedule, applications for the M.Sc. Environmental Science and PG Diploma in Chemistry Informatics programmes can now be submitted till June 15. The last date for M.Com. (Financial Technology) and Master of Social Work (MSW) is June 20.

For the B.Sc. (Combined) Physics and Chemistry programme, the extended deadline is June 23, while applications for M.Sc. Electronics and Instrumentation and M.A. Career Guidance are open till June 25.

Candidates interested in M.A. Linguistics, M.A. Sociology, M.Sc. Nanoscience and Technology, Textile and Apparel Design, E-Learning Technology, and Bioinformatics can apply till June 30. Applications for the M.Ed. and M.A. Gender Studies programmes have been extended till July 31, the statement added.

Students are advised to visit the university website for detailed admission guidelines and to submit applications within the revised timeline.
