New Delhi: The Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 is set to begin on May 13 and go on till May 24 that will be held in multiple shift, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced on Monday.

The national-level entrance examination for undergraduate admissions serves as a single-window entrance for admissions to undergraduate programmes in central, state, and participating universities.

The test will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at designated centres across India and select international locations.

NTA has released a comprehensive set of exam day guidelines for candidates. Aspirants have been advised to strictly follow the instructions to avoid any inconvenience or disqualification.

Reporting Time:
Candidates must reach the exam centre as per the time mentioned on their admit card. Entry will not be permitted after the gate-closing time. Students are advised to arrive 15-30 minutes early to ensure a smooth entry process.

Mandatory Documents:
Candidates must carry a printed copy of the CUET UG 2025 admit card, a passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the application form), a valid photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License), and a transparent ballpoint pen.

Prohibited Items:
Electronic devices including mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth gadgets, and earphones are strictly prohibited. Candidates must also avoid carrying food items, except for those with medical conditions (with supporting documents). Items such as jewellery, handbags, wallets, caps, and metallic accessories are also banned.

Dress Code:
Candidates are advised to wear simple, light clothing without large buttons, embroidery, or badges. Those in religious or customary attire should report early for frisking. Footwear must be limited to slippers or sandals with thin soles—shoes and high heels are not allowed.

Additional Guidelines:
Candidates must occupy only their allotted workstation. Rough sheets will be provided at the centre. Any involvement in malpractice will lead to immediate disqualification. Candidates are advised to locate their exam centres in advance and follow instructions issued by the invigilators.

More information is available on the official website — cuetug.ntaonline.in.

In 2024, CUET UG saw over 14.9 lakh registrations, with the exam held across 379 cities, including 26 international centres.
